The central role of the lawyer in the procedures for applying for a residence permit.

Often finding themselves in precarious conditions, foreigners want to regularize their administrative situation. This process requires a close collaboration with the lawyer, who supports them throughout their procedure.

This article is highlighted through the experience of a Cameroonian citizen who was the victim of domestic violence in the country. Psychologically and clinically supported, she began a long process of reconstruction which also involves the active participation of the latter in a theatre play dealing precisely with the theme of violence against women in the Maison des Femmes de Saint-Denis.

In 2019, she asked Maitre Clara TRUGNAN for help. Her irregular situation was a real obstacle to her reconstruction process.
